An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office for Disability Affairs, Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has said contrary to the postulation of Governor Ademola Adeleke, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Dino Melaye, can not win the November 11 governorship election.
Dare, a legal practitioner made this disclosure while responding to Governor Ademola Adeleke who said he has defeated an incumbent governor and was coming to lead PDP to victory in the forthcoming November governorship election in Kogi state.
Dare who said the PDP candidate, Dino Melaye could not even deliver his House of Assembly candidate in the last election, pointed out that Kogi State is not Osun, stressing Governor Yahaya Bello has a lot of achievements that are visible to showcase that will make the APC win overwhelmingly.
He alleged that PDP In the state is now an empty shell, as he claims that almost all the PDP leaders and members in the state have all joined the ruling party wondering how the PDP will win when it has no structure.
While he pointed out that the scenario in Kogi is different from Osun State, he said the last governorship contest in Osun was one between the APC and APC, stressing in Kogi State the APC is formidable with water tight followership, saying the Osun State Governor will be shocked by the unprecedented defeat of his candidate.
The APC, Dare maintained, will trounce the PDP silly, assuring that the PDP candidate will not even come fourth in the forthcoming November governorship election.
