Kidnappers

From Tony John, Port Harcourt

The gunmen who kidnapped former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr. Nnamdi Abbah, have demanded N100 million.
Abbah was abducted last week around Alakahia axis of East-West Road, Obio/Akpor LGA, while returning home.
The kidnappers contacted the victim’s family five days after his abduction and demanded N100 million.
According to a source, who did not want to be mentioned,  the gang contacted Abbah’s friend, who is a notable politician in Emohua LGA to make the demand.
The source expressed worry about the health condition of the victim,  saying that after the first contact with the kidnappers,  no further contact had been made.
The source pleaded with the abductors to free the former council chairman unconditionally, considering his unstable health.
