Kerry’s visit: Reporters barred from coverage

State House correspondents have been handed down the itinerary of ‎the United States Secretary of States John Kerry during his visit to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja, Tuesday.
Those that have been given approval to establis his arrival at the forecourt of the presidential villa by about 2:55pm, are the selected few with still and video camera, they are to establish the bilateral meeting at the Grey room of the President’s office.
Buhari and Kerry would meet behind closed doors and both leaders will hold bilateral talks bothering on building stronger ties between the two countries.

Daily Sun observed that security has been  beefed up around the presidential villa right from the two entrance gates.

According to the schedule, the US Secretary of State will also meet with five governors from the northern part of the country at the end of his bilateral talks with President Buhari, inside the presidential villa.
Reporters, photographers and videographers not among the selected few to establish the events, are to ‎be confined to the briefing room of the council chambers throughout the period of Kerry’s stay in Aso Rock . 
Kerry will not speak to reporters on the conclusion of his visit.
