Award-winning PR strategist and veteran journalist Kehinde Ajose has released a new, highly practical YouTube masterclass aimed at fixing a noticeable gap in media and content creation: the ability to confidently interview high-profile Nigerians.
Titled “How to Interview High-Profile Nigerians Without Sounding Like an Amateur,” the concise, less-than-five-minute video is a must-watch for podcasters, content creators, journalists, and public speakers looking to engage influential personalities with poise and professionalism.
Ajose draws on over a decade of experience, having interviewed a ‘who’s who’ of Nigerian entertainment, including stars like D’banj, Funke Akindele, Yemi Alade, Simi, Mr Macaroni, Odunlade Adekola, Lagbaja, and many others. The strategist shared the personal inspiration behind the class, noting that preparation is key, but adaptability is essential. “With over a decade of interviewing high-profile individuals, I’ve learned that most people are never prepared when opportunity comes,” Ajose stated.
He pointed to a spontaneous interview with actors Daniel Etim Effiong and Efe Irele as a core example, stating,
