As Nigeria prepares to mark its 65th Independence Anniversary on October 1st, leading real estate developer T.Pumpy Concept Limited is celebrating the occasion with a star-studded novelty football match aimed at promoting health, unity, and community spirit.
The match, scheduled to take place at Riverdo Arena on Airport Road, Lugbe, Abuja, will feature Nigerian football legends Kanu Nwankwo and Obafemi Martins, fondly known as “Oba Goal”. Kick-off is set for 4:00 PM, with the T.Pumpy Football Club taking on Riverdo Football Club in what promises to be an entertaining and symbolic event.
According to the company, the event is part of its broader commitment to nation-building beyond real estate, emphasizing wellness, social cohesion, and community engagement.

The presence of Kanu and Martins is expected to draw large crowds and amplify the event’s significance. Kanu, a former Super Eagles captain and founder of the Kanu Heart Foundation, has long been an advocate for health and wellness, having overcome a serious heart condition himself. Martins, known for his pace and perseverance on the field, is regarded as a symbol of resilience and determination—qualities that T.Pumpy says reflect Nigeria’s national story.
