Bandits terrorising Kaduna State on Friday reportedly attacked Dogon Noma village, Maro Ward in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State, killing two persons, abducting three others, and taking away six motorcycles.
The villagers, Friday, raised the alarm while their community was being attacked by the bandits, but by the time the help came, the damage had been done.
A source who spoke in confidence said, “The bandits stormed the community early hours of Friday with guns and other dangerous weapons and attacked houses and anyone in sight.
He narrated: “We raised the alarm immediately these criminal elements stormed the village. Security men later came and pursued them out of the area.
“By the time we took the inventory of our people and property, we recovered two bodies but we could not account for three others. Six bikes were also taken away during the attack.
“We have buried the two persons that lost their lives during the unfortunate incident. We appeal to the State Government and Security agents to help rescue our people and see what they can do to avoid a repeat.”
