The Julius Berger Group is showcasing its expanding operations at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria Expo in Lagos, alongside leading construction and engineering companies from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Kuwait and Africa.
The expo, which began in Lagos on Tuesday, brings together manufacturers, developers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and technology providers to explore business opportunities in Nigeria’s construction industry.
At the centre of Julius Berger’s participation is its group pavilion, where several subsidiaries are displaying their products and services.
ABUMET Nigeria Limited, the Group’s aluminium and glass solutions company, is showcasing products including its latest Glass Bridge and Balustrade Star, a Grid2shell product, aluminium windows, curtain walls, façade systems and other architectural solutions.
The company is also engaging visitors on its fabrication processes and sustainable building technologies for commercial, residential and industrial projects.
PrimeTech Design and Engineering Nigeria Limited is displaying its capabilities in architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as infrastructure planning, design and master planning.
Its exhibition highlights engineering and development solutions for sectors including infrastructure and oil and gas.
Julius Berger Precast Services is also exhibiting its range of engineered concrete products, including paving stones, blocks, pipes, drains and other precast solutions.
The company is using the exhibition to demonstrate how precast products can improve construction efficiency, shorten project timelines and enhance the durability of buildings and infrastructure.
Visitors to the pavilion are also being introduced to the Julius Berger Excellence Centre and the Group’s facility management operations, with specialists providing information on property maintenance, facility management and technical support services.
The expo has also attracted international companies displaying construction equipment, smart building technologies, sustainable materials and digital solutions aimed at improving productivity and project delivery.
Representatives of the Julius Berger subsidiaries described the expo as an opportunity to build business relationships, exchange ideas and explore new opportunities.
They said the event is also providing an avenue for the Group to reconnect with existing partners while showcasing the range of expertise available across its businesses.
Julius Berger’s participation highlights the Group’s focus on expanding beyond conventional construction into engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing and support services, while exploring opportunities in Nigeria and other markets.
