Julius Berger furniture shines at Abuja housing awards

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc (JBN), the parent company to the Abuja Furniture Production (AFP), has consecutively been awarded the Best Furniture Company in Nigeria by the most prestigious and objective award in the housing and construction industry across Africa.
Its Executive Director, Administration, Alhaji Zubairu Ibrahim Bayi, a Fellow, FMIOB, was also honoured with a Life Time Achievement Award at the Abuja Housing Show, AHS, held at the International Conference Centre, ICC.
Part of the criteria considered during the customer survey, before unveiling AFP as the best furniture company, included best customer relations unit, product satisfaction level, consistency in quality and dependable delivery among other evaluations.
In receiving both awards on behalf of the company and the Executive Director, Head, Public Relations Unit, JBN, Prince Moses Duku, Esq. appreciated the organisation for their detailed and objective appraisal regarding the awards.
He said this while addressing Newsmen at the AFP showroom in Abuja, stating that JBN, it’s subsidiaries, products, services and qualities can only get better, even in its premium state and strength.
According to its brochure, it was noted that AFP is guided by leading standards in quality and innovation, as all its production resources are sourced in Edo State, Nigeria.
The idea behind sourcing locally for the highest quality materials and component supplies in Nigeria, is to encourage Federal Government’s drive to seriously promote Made-In-Nigeria products, as well as expand the market worldwide.
