Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has described Bayern Munich as one of Europe’s best teams ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.

The Spanish tactician spoke on Saturday, a day before his side lost 2-1 at home to Olympique Lyonnais.

PSG and Bayern’s first-leg clash comes on April 28 before the return leg on May 6.

Enrique said he expects “fantastic” games in terms of quality and competition, given the significant capabilities both sides possess.

“Now we will be facing one of the BEST teams in Europe at the moment. But we are the defending champions. It’s hard to predict what will happen,” he said.

Enrique dismissed insinuations that the UCL title holders are favourites, emphasising that the outcome of the games would be hard to predict.

“Favourites? It doesn’t matter who the favourite is. What matters is what we SHOW on the pitch,” he added.
