Chairmen of the Senate Committees on Appropriations and Army, Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) and Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua (Katsina Central), have assured Nigerians that 2025 will bring better fortunes than past years.
They made this known in separate messages to mark the new year.
Adeola, in his message by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, expressed optimism that 2025 will be far better than the outgone year for his constituents and Nigerians.
He stressed that with the ongoing Renewed Hope Agenda Reforms that are beginning to yield positive fruits, a sustainable and bearable socioeconomic circumstances beckons in the new year.
The Appropriations chairman urged all Nigerians to pray for more wisdom for leaders, while wishing and praying for peace, security and socioeconomic advancement for the people and nation of Nigeria.
On his part, Senator Yar’Adua, who doubles as the Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum, expressed optimism that Nigerians’ resilience and determination will lead them to a path of prosperity.
“As we step into the new year, I wish you all a joyous and prosperous 2025. May this year bring us closer to our dreams of a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.
“As we reflect on the past year, let us acknowledge the challenges we faced and the progress we made. Our resilience and determination have brought us this far, and I am confident that together, we can overcome any obstacle.
“In the coming year, I pledge to join my colleagues in the Senate to continue working tirelessly to ensure that our great nation fulfills its potential. I will strive to promote policies that foster economic growth, improve security, and enhance the well-being of all Nigerians.
“Let us march into the new year with hope, optimism, and a renewed sense of purpose. May God bless Nigeria and guide us towards a brighter future.”
