• Over military’s Operation Python Dance

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has advised Biafrans and its members not to fall victim to soldiers called Operation Python Dance, saying it had launched its ‘Operation David Dance’ which is recognised by God.
The group said ‘Operation David Dance’ was used by King David in the bible to dance against Goliath at the battlefield because “God Almighty does not sleep.”
A statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful urged the people of Biafra to remain calm in case of any provocation by the ‘blood thirsty’ soldiers allegedly sent to eliminate the people of the South East.
IPOB said the plot would fail.
“We are also aware that the world knows that the annual report from Amnesty International (AI) against the cold-blooded killing of unarmed members of IPOB in Nigeria by security agents was correct and even the soldiers know that the report was correct. AI did not give a total report against them.
“We blame them for killing innocent civilians because we are not in the war era and it is now gathering momentum around the world, hence, they are running helter-skelter to cover the crime committed in broad daylight.
“There is no way you can deny something that happened in broad daylight; and people saw how they killed our people randomly in the streets.
“Amnesty International is a recognised NGO in the world and cannot be pushed to deliver a fake or manufactured reports against anybody, groups or governments around the world.
“However, all those fake NGO group have now realised that the people around the globe know that their plot to create negative impressions have failed.
“Moreover, IPOB is an organised group which adopted non-violent approach towards the realisation of God’s project and God Almighty is actually using the group to liberate his people through Nnamdi Kanu,” the statement said.
