The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) and Allied People’s Movement (APM) have demanded credible polls and the neutrality of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the 2027 general elections, urging governments at all levels to provide dividends of democracy to the masses to assuage the pains of economic hardship in the country.
IPAC National Chairman, Yusuf Dantalle, in a statement to mark the Sallah celebration, urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts in the war against terrorism, stressing that INEC must remain neutral and provide a level playing field to all political parties and their candidates contesting various positions.
Dantalle, who also serves as APM National Chairman, in a separate statement tasked politicians to shun violence and other electoral malpractices as the country strives to build a decent democratic society that respects the sanctity of the ballot box.

“APM urges governments at all levels to prioritise the welfare of the people.
Nigerians desire and deserve good governance. The interest of the people supersedes partisan politics. This is in tandem with the Allied People’s Movement’s ideology of the People First as seen in the two states the party is in power, Bauchi and Oyo States,” he said.
He described the APM as the fastest growing political party in Nigeria and reaffirmed its commitment to putting the people first, noting that sovereignty resides in the people and not in any political structure or individual.
Dantalle called on Nigerians to set aside political differences and join what he described as the PDP and APM Alliance that fosters national security, unity, equity, inclusivity and prosperity, insisting that the party was ready to reset Nigeria and make it great again through the ongoing Great Alliance ahead of the 2027 general election.
