A member of the House of Representatives, Joseph Nwobashi has advocated town hall meeting with stakeholders of the six geo-political zones of the country as lasting solution to the worsening insecurity in the country.

Nwobashi, who represents Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Ebonyi State, argued that the stakeholders know the nooks and crannies of the environment and the perpetrators of the insecurity.

“I think it  is better we organise mega town hall meeting in each of the regions in order to identify the real cause of this insecurity and then solutions can be profered,” he advised.

He gave the suggestion while speaking with journalists in Abakaliki, the state capital.

He, however, praised President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to building the economy for better Nation.

He noted that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda was focused on empowering the youths and expanding economic opportunities for all citizens.

“Yes, the President is doing well to the nation and he has been up and doing to ensure that the economy takes its shape and we must get there.

“The tax reform is yielding fruit and other policies. He has been on the move to ensure more united nation and end to insecurity and cost of living.

“In fact, I scored Mr President 80 per cent in his two years in office. I believe, Nigeria is on the move for greatness,” he said.

He also commended Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi on his developmental stride, calling on all stakeholders to support his policies.

“The Governor is man of his people. Payment of pension arrears is highly commendable. He has projects scattered all-over the local government areas (LGAs) in the state.

“The three classroom blocks in each LGAs. The VANCO flyover and tunnel, the 140 housing estate to tackle housing deficit and Internal roads,” Nwobashi said.
