Controversial Indian politician and ex-lawmaker Atiq Ahmed and his brother were shot dead by an attacker while speaking on live television amidst police security
Atique Ahmed was an Indian criminal, politician, and a former member of the Indian Parliament and the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Samajwadi Party.
He had more than 100 criminal cases registered against him and had been in jail since 2019.
