Nigerian entrepreneur Suleiman Abdulsalam is pursuing business interests across consumer services, digital commerce, mobility and financial technology, with a focus on applying technology to everyday business and consumer needs.
His business interests include developing digital solutions aimed at improving access to services, facilitating commercial transactions and addressing challenges faced by individuals and businesses.
The ventures are linked under Silver Group, a business umbrella associated with Abdulsalam’s activities across different sectors. However, the individual businesses operate under separate legal and operational structures, with distinct responsibilities and objectives.
Abdulsalam has also highlighted the importance of corporate governance, accountability and organisational structures in managing businesses across sectors with different operational and regulatory requirements.
His approach places emphasis on establishing clear responsibilities within business operations while allowing individual ventures to pursue their respective objectives.
The development comes amid the expansion of Africa’s digital economy, with technology adoption creating opportunities for businesses in areas such as financial services, online commerce and mobility.
However, businesses operating in these sectors continue to face challenges relating to consumer trust, accessibility, regulation and the delivery of services that meet local needs.
