The Governor of lmo State, Hope Uzodinma, has appointed 27 Sole Administrators (SOLADs) to superintend the affairs of the Local Government Councils.
In a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation, and Strategy, Imo State, Hon Declan Emelumba stated that the SOLADs will pilot the affairs of the local government until the conduct of credible local government elections in the state which will happen in the next 60 days.
The SOLADs are: Isiala Mbano, Okoroike Chika, Onuimo, Dr. Obi Emeka, Okigwe, Sir Acho Asiegbu, Obowo, Barr. Obioma Ehirim, Ehime Mbano, Chief Uche Nwodu, Ihitte Uboma, Barr. Chukwuma Godson Onyema, Oru East, Okwaraigwe Nnamdi, Orsu, Ibekaeme Friday
Others are: Orlu, Barr. Isaiah Chinedu Ezeogu, Oguta, Dr. Abiaziem Chima , Oru West, Engr. Ikenna Adikibe, Ohaji/Egbema, Hon. Chief Onyeaju Princewill, Nwangele Chief Paul Duru, Isu : Chief Kenneth Ukah, Nkwerre,. Odunze Ajaero JP, Njaba, Anaemem Obikaeze, Ideato South, Hon. Okechukwu Okwara, Ideato North, Ozigbo Michael
Ahiazu Mbaise and others have Larry Obinna Chikwe, Ezinihitte Mbaise, Nwachukwu Chinedum A, Mbaitoli, Nwanegwo Ifunanya, Ikeduru, Justice Nzeh, Aboh Mbaise, Chief Nnamdi Anyanwu, Ngor Okpala. The Commissioner noted that the appointments are with immediate effect
The latest appointees would be the third set of Sole Administrators to oversee the affairs of the 27 Local Governments Councils, Governor Uzodinma took office on January 15, 2020, assuring that the LG election will be conducted by the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC).
