Imo 2019: Nwosu vows to empower youth, women

Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), Uche Nwosu, yesterday, said he would empower  100,000 women and youths within his first year in office as governor of the State.

Nwosu said that his administration would focus on alleviating poverty among the rural dwellers through investment in agriculture and Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. 

The AA governorship flag bearer, while unveiling his health policy,  said  pregnant women and children below the age of five, as well as people above the age of 75 would have access to quality and free medical care.

He also promised to sustain and improve on the free education programme of the state government, which he said, had made it possible for the children of the poor to have quality education.
