The Igbo Intercessory Prayer Ministry (IIPM), a global pan-Igbo Christian organisation, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Owerri, Imo State, on Saturday, September 13, 2025
Founded in the United States in 2012 and established in Nigeria in March 2015, IIPM is a non-profit, non-sectarian and Bible-teaching ministry devoted to interceding for the Igbo people worldwide.
Speaking ahead of the event, the global coordinator, Pastor Dr. Chris Iheanacho Amuchie, described the ministry as “a purpose vehicle Christian organisation dedicated to the spiritual and physical uplift of the Igbo people.” He added that IIPM’s mission includes “encouraging honest and profitable relationships among Igbos, stimulating solution-oriented discourse on contemporary issues, and prayerfully fighting against the current negative vibes that hinder peace, progress, and free movement in our God-given society.”
Dr. Ben Nnaji will preside as chairman as the 10th anniversary celebration. Special guests of honour include Ezinwa Sir Stanley Amuchie, Barrister Success Akagburuonye, and Barrister Iheukwu Alaribe, Executive Chairman of Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area. The guest speaker for the occasion will be Professor Callistus Ndahh.
