Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Uju Mandy, has recounted one of her heartbreaking moments.
In an encounter with Saturday Sun, the single mother of one said she has learnt to guard her heart against philanderers and cheaters.
In her words: “I have learnt my lessons. No man can break my heart again because I won’t give him the opportunity to try it. I now guard my heart jealously after what my ex-boyfriend did to me; he got another lady pregnant. He even had the guts to come back and apologise to me. I am not in a hurry for marriage. I am still young and I have a very bright future ahead of me. I need to make money before settling down. I have also learned to always be myself. I don’t leave my life to please anyone because if you know how people forget the dead, you would stop living to impress anyone.”
Miss Mandy added that being a curvaceous lady has its peaks and troughs. “My endowments made me restrict certain things I normally enjoy doing. Due to harassment and everyday toasters, I stopped wearing skimpy dresses. The troubles that come with having my type of body are overwhelming. It’s somehow funny. Last Valentine’s Day, I didn’t go out; I was at home throughout watching movies,” she squealed.
