For many, Nollywood actress Eve Esin has always been known for her powerful screen performances and emotional depth.
But beyond the lights and camera, the actress recently opened up about a deeply personal journey, one of faith, resilience, and finding love when many thought it was too late.
The award-winning actress recently revealed that she legally tied the knot at 43 and later held her traditional wedding just a day after her 44th birthday. Her testimony, she explained, was meant to give hope to anyone who feels time is slipping away.
“My post is to give someone who had lost hope, hope. I am not a motivational speaker but a child God showed mercy,” she said.
The actress reflected on her long wait for love, admitting that the journey was far from easy. She recounted how she endured years of societal pressure, mockery, and emotional struggles while trusting that her time would come.
“43? Not married? Old cargo! Who says a thing and it comes to pass when God has not spoken?” Darling, I have been through it all. Someday I will tell my story. I thank God for never letting me lose faith in Him.”
The Kokoma Star actress also urged those still waiting for love or other breakthroughs not to lose faith, reminding them that delay is not denial.
“I join my faith with anyone that feels time is slipping by, and I say delay is not denial. May God in His infinite mercy grant the desires of your heart and divinely connect you to that person that completes you,” she prayed.
Through her openness, Eve Esin has become a beacon of hope for many who struggle with the pressures of societal timelines.
