In celebration of cultural diversity and artistic prowess, Nigerian photographer Ibukun Akindele Moses aka ‘Thevisualchef’, has clinched the prestigious Portrait of Britain Award for Photography, cementing his status as an international talent to reckon with.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Akindele has captivated audiences with his ability to seamlessly blend tradition and modernity in his photographic masterpieces.
The winning portrait, a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Nigerian culture, stood out among entries from across the United Kingdom. Titled: ‘One with Nature’, the image skillfully captures the simplicity of nature, showcasing Akindele’s remarkable talent for telling compelling stories through the lens.
