Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Edo State branch.
The said lawyer, Joshua Oseluanamen Anebuokhae was kidnapped yesterday, 15th September, 2023, along Asaba Road.
Festus Osagie Usiobaifo, Publicity Secretary of the state chapter of the NBA, said the Executive Committee of the NBA, Benin branch, led by Nosa Francis Edo-Osagie, was in smart touch with the Police and other relevant security agencies to ensure that Joshua, an Alumnus of Ambrose Alli University was released unhurt.
Edo-Osagie, however, urged Nigerians to keep their prayers for him to be released to the family unhurt.
Edo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, he said he had yet to be briefed about it.
