Uba A. Michael, Delta State gubernatorial aspirant on Wednesday met with Ajayi Joshua Oluwatobi, Chairman/CEO of Nord Automobiles Limited, an indigenous car manufacturing company where they discussed extensively on the former’s plans for Delta State, if he is elected.

During the meeting, both parties agreed that one way to drive human capital development was the creation of job opportunities and hence reached a conclusion to set up a car assembly plant in Delta State.

They took it further by assuring Deltans of training on car manufacturing.

Oluwatobi is a widely creative and astute entrepreneur. Nord is one of the first Nigerian automobile brands and Africa’s premier automobile corporation.

Uba A. Michael reiterated that job creation is one of the areas he intends to focus heavily on if elected.

According to him, rather than hand out alms, it would be best to give people jobs so that they can take care of themselves.
