Southern and Middle Belt Youth Leaders Forum has endorsed Prof. Kingsley Moghalu of Young Progressives Party (YPP) as its presidential candidate for tomorrow’s poll.
The leaders made this known during the group’s 16th executive council meeting at Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a communiqué jointly signed by Eric Oluwole, South West Youth Leader; Ikechukwu Bismarck Oji, South East Youth Leader; Samuel Brown, South-South Youth Leader, and Emmanuel Zopmal, Middle Belt Youth Leader, the group appraised the performances of the presidential candidates at the last presidential debate.
It said it was obvious that Moghalu performed superlatively, thereby, convincing the group that he has what it takes to give the people a Nigeria of their dream.
“It was obvious that the presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were afraid of Moghalu and that was why they boycotted the presidential debate.
“We will not vote any presidential candidate who boycotted the recent presidential debate, as that was a slight on the people whose mandate they seek. Such candidates cannot, therefore, be expected to listen and attend to the yearnings of the long-suffering Nigerian masses.”
