…Says time up for kidnappers

By Christopher Oji

The cleric in charge of Christ Prophetic Praise and Power Ministries International (CPPPMI), Evangelist Olufumilayo Eniola, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his team to rise up to end the problem of insecurity in the country.

Prophetess Eniola, during a press conference over the weekend at Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos, claimed that the Presidency knew the criminal elements troubling the country, and should go after them. She said, while the President should do the needful by either crushing all criminals or negotiating for peace, religious organisations should rise up to their responsibility of raising spiritual praise altars against the criminals destroying the programmes of God concerning Nigeria.

Her words: “Mr. President has a lot to do. It is just like they say, that, if an insurgency lasts beyond 24 hours in any country, the government is aware of it. I think the government knows those who are really the key leaders in the insurgency in Nigeria.

“Let the government go and meet the core people and talk to them. The government knows their hideouts, they know where they are staying. So, let the government go after them or negotiate with them, and insecurity is gone for real.

“You see, God has given us a solution. We are only perambulating, moving round in circles; they know what to do. Mr. President, sir, please, allow me to say you are a grandfather, do all within your strength and engage the young ones because they are more talented.

“They can solve Nigeria’s problem within a few days. All these youths, please, engage them, beg them, you have offended them. Beg them, they’ll track these criminals down.

“And, of course, you know what happened during the time of our brother, former President Goodluck Jonathan. He made fertilizers available to the least farmer without diversion. Let’s work hard on this and encourage farmers by providing police, since they don’t want to give the vigilantes weapons. Can we have police that will help the farmers?

“Let the police not just be working for the citie; the villages need policing too, they need help. Rise up for them. We have good land, why are people still starving when we have land to plant crops? Please, Mr. President, we can work together.

“My own area is to pray. When I pray, when we raise a prophetic altar, all things the criminals are doing in the secret will be exposed. In fact, we have five states, which I’ll give you if you want to see me. Where you need to work on, where they raised evil altars against Nigeria, and the majority is in the North. I have the states.

“I wrote it down in 2019. So, God will help us. I believe Nigeria can be better. That is why we are here. I won’t come out if God didn’t send me. I closed down my church to carry out the assignment that God gave me. He said I should leave the church, leave the office or general overseer and go about raising up praise and worship altars in the South-West. That is my assignment. He has also raised those to raise the same altar in other regions. Some of them know that they have been raised to build an altar of praise for Him, but they are yet to start work.

“We will be raising South-West’s prophetic praise altar on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa Secretariat, MKo Abiola Gardens Road, Ikeja, Lagos, from 10am to 1pm.

“We thank God for answering our prayers and that is what is leading us to raise a praise altar for thanksgiving that will come up very soon, I think next week. I also want to state that in this region, especially the South-West, South-South, all the citizens of all faiths, whether Muslim or Christian, it is our responsibility to make sure that we stand for peace and progress of our region.

“We have an assignment that is very urgent for the nation of Nigeria and I just want to brief you about the assignment and what we ought to do, especially the citizens of this country. Exactly 10 years ago, I was waiting on God for 100 days and God gave me a vision of what was about to happen then in Nigeria, about the insurgency, especially in the South-West and some other regions in Nigeria. But, basically, God asked me to stand in the gap; it’s an intercessory ministry for the South-West.

“And, by and large, I was able to write to those in power that I could remember. I wrote to the governors of South-West, Ambode, Aregbesola and the rest, about what was to come and why they should set guard in place to avert the problem coming, but I couldn’t get a response from them.

“We still have to continue because, when it got to a time, we had to stop the insurgency, God gave me the direction to start and actually we started as early as 2018. God asked us to raise 40 days of prayer, which we did in 2019. Again, we had to raise a praise, prophetic praise, for 92 days, from 1st of May to July 31st, and that one went, but we started again when God gave us the leading in 2021.

“Even before 2021, just immediately after the saga of COVID-19 in Nigeria, we started raising an altar in Lagos State. We went to eight local governments, including Ikorodu and Victoria Island. We did it on Ahmadu Bello Way in Victoria Island; we were in Bariga, we were also in Igando. We held it again at Alausa, and on Bank Anthony Way and Awolowo Way, Ikeja.

“So we were able to do this but God was still giving us signals about what was about to happen outside Lagos; and then God told me something, I heard vividly. I was reluctant because there was no fund to start that kind of assignment in the entire Lagos State. But God gave me a word that, if I do not start it, if they start killing people, He would request the blood of those people from me. So, I reached out to some of my children in the Lord and we held one in Agege Stadium, Lagos, on December 5, 2021. From there we went to Ekiti State, where we held it at Ado-Ekiti, the pavilion in Ado-Ekiti. And from there we went to Ondo State. That was an assignment that we had to inform other Christian bodies too, including PFN, CAN and some other gospel singers in different states because of the expenses, which we could not carry all from Lagos to different parts.

“We had to use some people in different states, including some leading gospel singers then. We held it in Ondo at MKO Garden City in Akure, because we had to hold the programme in the state capital. From there we moved to Ibadan and, after Ibadan, we went down to Abeokuta. From Abeokuta, we went back to Osun State. That was the one we held last for all the states. Osun was February 2023, exactly a year after God asked us to, in fact we’ve been working on it to raise a prophetic praise altar for thanksgiving for God taking charge of the South-West.

“What the enemy imagined was much more terrible and for those who can see, I mean in the spirit, you’ll know that indeed it is God that has helped us to be alive and safe in the South-West.

“Nigeria is our country. We have no other place. Even people outside are still interested that this country must rise. It is our sole responsibility to make sure that the country is at peace and is progressing. So, if I do not do it, God will raise other people. That’s what He said. He said, if these people refuse to praise me, I’ll raise sand.

“I met with God at the age of 15. In this ministry, I started exactly 20 years ago and I was ordained into the assignment by my father in the Lord, Dr. Olukoya. So, it has been an assignment that has been part of me. I am an evangelist. I do crusades here and there.

“I know God has an assignment for everybody. My own assignment is what I am facing and I need your prayers to succeed because we cannot do it alone. I cannot do it alone. A tree cannot make a forest. We all need to work together and ensure that the South-West and other regions are safe and also we should pray for the prosperity and economy of the nation.

“It is our responsibility. It’s not the responsibility of the governors alone or the Presidency. We need to work together. I don’t belong to any political party. I belong to the party of Jesus. I am a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and I know before Christ will come all of us that are yet to know him will know him soon.

“The thrust of my assignment is to expose undesirable elements in the South-West. Whether Boko Haram terrorism or insurgency, banditry or kidnapping operating in the South-West, the time is up; the game is over. They can no longer live among us. They should stop or leave the region. Most of the kidnappers that are in the South-West will be exposed. Because, as we raise this praise altar, the hand of God will come upon them. They will hear thunder, they will be earthquake, because, this season, God has answered our prayers and that’s why he has raised me up to stand for the nation. It will be a surprise when you see Angels smiting kidnappers and smoking them out of the bushes and hideouts. There is no hiding place for criminals. Leave the region or turn a new leaf.

“Please, all pastors, our daddies in the Lord, and religious leaders should join hands with us in prayers for God to flush out the agents of the devil in our states. I am so concerned. You know what happened to Deborah in the Bible, she rose up even though she liaised with one of the leaders and told him what was about to happen to the country and they were all jittery. I met a man of God too. He was just asking questions. I was in a meeting and all of them were just disturbed, saying, what can we do? How can we avert this?
When I met with Pastor Itua, for example, I told him we could avert it, God gave me the key on what to do. And this is what to do, I will encourage some people too to raise an altar of praise but that kind of altar of praise, prophetic praise, is an altar of praise that you raise just like what Elijah did, but it is not what just anybody can do. You have to prepare for it because there’ll be a counter-attack in the spirit.”

When asked what measures should be put in place, especially in the South-West, to curb kidnapping and improve security, she said, “The main assignment, our governors need to really rise up. It is not only when nobles are attacked that they should rise up. This thing is affecting everyone. If you go to some parts of Ekiti, it is there. Look at what happened to the obas recently. Some places really need policing; maybe the police are not enough. Though they are trying to raise Amotekun for the South-West, I still believe they are not doing enough. God will help us. They need to do more.

“I think the police should be more empowered. We need more digital echnology, maybe CCTV cameras in some other states, because sometimes they’ll just do anything, if not that some people pass through that place, especially some villages, you won’t know. There are some accidents where some people would have been saved, but the bodies would have decomposed before they’ll know. I travel a lot, especially going to mountains and visiting so many places, especially by direction.
There are some places where they have evil altars that can attract or empower the evil ones. I mean light will always beget light, darkness will always stand for darkness. So, we need to raise up altars of God in those areas.

“When you are dealing with powers on the ground, territorial powers, it’s not a child’s play. I was sharing with one of my sisters when we got to Ekiti that night. I slept there, there was visitation from the evil ones, they came to me, what have I come for? They knew I was there.
Any prophetess or prophet of God standing for light, anywhere you get to they’ll want to attack you. But we were able to quench the fire. I told them I was there to raise a place for God, is that a problem? I told them and they left. People that accommodated me didn’t know what was transpiring in the spirit, I was the one that saw it.

“So we can still do more individually by alerting the police on time and the police when they call them they should respond on time and, number two, we need CCTV cameras.
Developed countries you see what they do, most of them have already arranged so many things that even before any terror takes place there will be some warning. As it’s taking place they would just dial 911, and immediately they respond. If our policemen, our security officers, can also imbibe all these ideas, it will go a long way. Nigeria is a very big country and we have a prosperous future.”

But why is the focus on the South-West? I don’t really know why God asked me to stand in the gap for the South-West. I think that is my own assignment. It’s not that I’m not standing up for others, for instance, what of all the killing in the South-East? But there’s always a man sent ahead of every problem. Everything happening in Nigeria now, there are some people who are interceding, who are still praying: they have seen it ahead.

“This insurgency, the key is what God gave to me, especially for the South-West. That is a covenant between myself and God because, once I do it, insurgency stops, and that’s why we are still going to raise the altar for South -West after the meeting we are having next week.”

She concluded by saying God gave her the word and the word was, if she does not don’t start, when they start killing, the blood that is shed will be requested from her: “So that means my life is at stake; my children’s lives are at stake, my family’s lives are at stake. So, I had to run with the vision. That was why I couldn’t wait for any governor. I couldn’t write them. I went straight ahead to that assignment, and faithful is he that called.”
