Nigerian fashion designer, Glory Agbonita Ehizuenlen, has been honoured with the Fashion Designer of the Year award at the 2023 African Icon Awards held on October 28 in Ghana.
The event, which recognises individuals whose creative influence cuts across national boundaries, celebrated Ehizuenlen for her growing impact on the African fashion landscape.
Her selection as Fashion Designer of the Year positions her as a notable force not only within Nigeria’s fashion industry but also across the continent, highlighting the reach of her work within Africa’s style and design ecosystem.
The ceremony featured a lineup of distinguished honorees drawn from across the continent, representing various sectors including the arts, entrepreneurship, and culture.
