Fast rising music sensation, Ikponmwosa Alex Idehen, widely known as Gerian, has shared his thoughts about how far he has gone in his music career and what he plans to do next.
Gerian, no doubt, started on a good note this year has he released great songs back to back; but his most recent hit single ‘Comment Alez Vous’ which he featured Jamopyper was very massive. But unfortunately the song was reported by his enemies and it was pulled down. This no doubt weighed him down.
“All of these things weighed me down and I had to travel back to Gambia to see how best I could focus on my career from here and break into the Lagos market. Before now, I had practically moved to Lagos with all my team and resources with the mindset of achieving our beautiful dream and to expand the fan base since we are doing well here in Gambia. But getting to Lagos it was a different ball game. And apart from being competitive, we were frustrated out.”
“Anyways, we have learnt some lessons. We have also made some wins and that’s the beauty of life. For me, all we have to do is to go back to the drawing board and re-strategise. We will come back stronger,” he said.
