Last week, we talked about the Cedars In Lebanon and their significance to the Christ.
Today, we will be talking about “How To Flourish On Every Side”.
HOW TO FLOURISH ON EVERY SIDE
1. OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
GEN.12:1-4.KJV. 1 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”
GEN.24:1.NLT. 1 “Abraham was now a very old man, and the Lord had blessed him in every way.”
Instruction is the cure to struggle, pressure, and hardship. God’s word is the greatest lifting force in the world.
It is impossible to enjoy God’s provisions when we disobey His instructions.
Every decision that you make that violates God’s instruction will cause you to suffer limitations.
We cannot follow God’s instruction and end up in frustration.
Every instruction from God positions us to flourish beyond human reasoning when obeyed.
Genesis. 26:1-3,12-14.NLT.
1 “A severe famine now struck the land, as had happened before in Abraham’s time. So Isaac moved to Gerar, where Abimelech, king of the Philistines, lived.
2 The LORD appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt, but do as I tell you.
3 Live here as a foreigner in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. I hereby confirm that I will give all these lands to you and your descendants,[a] just as I solemnly promised Abraham, your father.
12 When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him. 13 He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow. 14 He acquired so many flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and servants that the Philistines became jealous of him.”
There is no instruction from God that can ever make us lose our position in life.
We are exempted from the limitations and hardship in the earth when we follow the instruction from God.
Deuteronomy 28:1-3.KJV.
1“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.”
When you have received and applied the word, you must succeed.
Until you joyfully receive the word and forcefully apply and practice it, success is not in view; that’s the key.
Until you have a key to a door, you can’t gain access.
There is good in the land, but it is for those who will be willing and do the Word of God.
Isaiah 1:19.KJV. 19“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:”
God’s word is your access to abundance.
Lay hold on it and do what it says.
2. YOU MUST BE PLANTED IN GOD’S HOUSE.
Psalm. 92:13-14.KJV. 13 “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;”
1 Corinthians. 2:9.KJV. 9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
The blessings of the kingdom are not reserved for church goers but God lovers.
Only those who are genuinely planted in God’s court can be genuinely committed to the kingdom’s work.
It takes a man who is planted to make a mark with a difference.
It is impossible to love God’s work when we are not planted in God’s court.
Being planted in God’s house is our access card to flourish on every side.
Psalm. 92:13.KJV. 13 “Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
We flourish on every side when God is backing us on every side.
To be planted in the house of God means to be committed and involved in the things of God.
Commitment is the supernatural trigger for the blessings of God.
Those who are committed to God cannot be tormented on the earth.
YOU HAVE TO BE COMMITTED!
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Kindly say this prayer aloud;
“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Your word says, “…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).
I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Roman 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”,
I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God!
I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!”
Congratulations!
GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY
