Chairman, Chicason Group, Dr. Alexander Chika Okafor, has urged government to strengthen its strategy in eradicating adulterated and fake products,as the influx of counterfeit products into the market threatens investments worth billions in the lubricant manufacturing industry.
“The cries of the stakeholders in the lubricant manufacturing sector is on the need to curb the activities of perpetrators of fake products in the industry, most of the challenges faced in tackling this fake products,is the way they cleverly smuggled it into the country.
Dr. Okafor disclosed this during the unveiling of the company’s new high-performance engine oils, in Lagos.
