To promote creativity, positive parenting and infant wellbeing, Avon HMO recently celebrated the winners of its #AvonBaby2025 contest at a prize-giving ceremony in Lagos.

The event marked the conclusion of the seventh edition of the company’s flagship maternal and child health campaign.

Under the theme: “Denim Baby,” parents were encouraged to showcase playful, age-appropriate interpretations of denim fashion. The result was an array of standout entries that blended originality, personality and heartwarming expressions of childhood joy. The campaign recorded high participation and digital engagement across Avon HMO’s platforms, reinforcing the company’s commitment to family-centred initiatives that advocate for healthy living through creative engagement.

Winners of the contest received cash prizes, customized baby hampers, and various other rewards.

Speaking on the significance of the campaign, Osa Imasogie, Chief Executive Officer of Avon HMO, reaffirmed the company’s long-standing dedication to families and early childhood wellbeing. “Our Avon Baby campaign reflects our belief that healthy beginnings matter. For seven years, this initiative has provided a platform for parents to express love, creativity and pride in their children while reinforcing the importance of infant health. This year once again demonstrated the power of community and shared values,” Imasogie said.

Love Morolani, whose baby clinched the first-place prize, expressed her excitement, saying, “We are extremely excited to have won the Avon Baby Denim Edition. Coming first was truly special for our family. The inspiration came naturally; our baby always says she wants to be a rockstar and denim felt like the perfect fit for that idea. We are grateful to Avon HMO for this opportunity.”

Second-place winner, Nkechi Ogbonna, described the experience as both meaningful and rewarding, noting that the theme sparked a fun family collaboration. “His father, who is very passionate about fashion, came up with the concept. We are grateful to Avon HMO for the recognition and the experience,” she said.
