The Federal Government has taken a firm stance regarding the controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, saying he is not above the law and has already been invited for questioning.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made this disclosure while responding to questions from State House Correspondents on Monday after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
Following statements made by Gumi in relation to the abduction of over 280 pupils and teachers in Kaduna State, the minister said the government has deemed it necessary to invite him for questioning.
