FG completes over 667 constituency projects

The Federal Government has reiterated that the time for substandard projects is gone, adding that contracts must get to satisfactory level before payments are made.

The Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Zephaniah Jisalo, while giving this warning at a press conference in Abuja, yesterday, said not less than 667 abandoned projects will soon be completed across the country.

Jisalo stressed that the ministry, National Assembly will work in collaboration with the private sector for the actualization.

” The Renewed Hope government of president Bola Tinubu will nolonger tolerate substandard projects, they must get to a satisfactory level before payments are made.
” Inorder to curb the increasing number of abandoned projects across the country,we will work with the National Assembly in collaboration with the private sectors to investigate and verify the projects before any payments are made, he added.

Speaking on the nationwide protest,the minister said that it is not best option adding that it will only lead to anarchy and enmity between ethnic groups.

He insisted that president Tinubu has really done well in his one year in government,so does not need any distractions.

” The present government has really considered youths, though protest is allowed in a democratic government but I want to say that most protest don’t get the desired results.

We are saying no to it because it will cause enmity between ethnic groups and also scare away investors from the country.

The minister, therefore applead for behavioural change, assuring Nigerians that with is on ground, they will smile in the one you.
