Falana, Ogundipe others for WBF anniversary lecture

Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic and Research, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe; human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) and his wife, Funmi Falana, are some of the prominent Nigerians billed as guest speakers at the 10th anniversary of the Wilson Badejo Foundation (WBF), on Thursday.

The WBF Founder, Rev. Wilson Badejo, disclosed this during a press briefing in Lagos.

The theme of the lecture is, “Building a Nation Devoid of Poverty and Corruption”, and it will hold at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island Lagos, by 11am.

Rev. Badejo, whose 70th birthday celebration coincided with his foundation’s 10 years of  charity, expressed regret at the increasing level of poverty in the country, and called on government and public spirited individuals to join hands to bring succour to the needy.
