The much expected Rivers State rerun election may not hold in some part of the state, most especially in Bonny where the People have stormed the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, over fake and photocopied result sheets. Election may not hold.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in a tweet on its handle @PdpNigeria also quoted the Andoni people as saying that, “All materials brought to our Ward are all fake. Reporting from unit 12 Ward 3 Andoni LGA.”
The PDP said: “No elections in Bonny. Result sheets handed to all electoral officers are fake. Materials have been returned to INEC.”
At Ward 1, Units 4&5 in Ahoada, sensitive electoral materials including ballot papers hijacked hoodlums and many were pointing accusing fingers to a politician from the area.
Fake election results were discovered in Bonny Federal Constituency, accreditation and voting halted.
