The Eze Ndigbo Ghana and Assistant Publicity Secretary Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, HRM Eze Amb. Chukwudi Ihenetu has congratulated the new President-general Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu
Chief Iwuanyanwu,chairman of Ohanaeze’s Council of Elders, was recently selected to replace Prof. George Obiozor who died in 2022.
In a statement, the Umuduruoha Amigbo Nwagele Imo state-born Royal Father, HRM Amb. Ihenetu said the emergence of Chief Iwuanyanwu as the president-general comes with enormous responsibility, and he was sure the media mogul and businessman going by his pedigree would succeed
On what Chief Iwuanyanwu should do, HRM Ihenetu appealed to him to call for town hall meeting with the goal of uniting Ndigbo at home and the Diaspora.
” When you look at Ndigbo, you will notice that they are scattered around the globe, as such, the Igbo race needs an experienced leader like Chief Iwuanyanwu to bring them together under one strong umbrella. ”
Furthermore, HRM Amb. Ihenetu, a global peace ambassador who was recently appointed International Human Rights ambassador for Nigerians in the Diaspora, also urges Chief Iwuanyanwu to work with other Ohanaeze affiliates in the Diaspora with objective of attracting investment to Igbo homeland.
