The Eze Ndigbo Ghana, HRM Dr Chukwudi Ihenetu has in a strong term condemn the gunmen attack on Worshippers of St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.
Preliminary report puts the dead at 25 while several others sustained various degrees of gunshots wounds.
In a statement issued from his Obiukwu Obieziokwu palace in Ghana, the Umuduruoha Amigbo Nwagele Imo-State born Royal Father, HRM Dr. Ihenetu said the dastard act stands condemnable before man and God.
While calling on security agencies to step-up action by unraveling mystery behind killings across the country, the Royal father known for his expertise in conflict resolution, said killings of this nature portray Nigeria as uncivilized among committee of nation. “Attitudes like this scare foreign investors away from the country”, he said.
While also condoling with families of the deceased and the people of Ondo state, the Royal father pray for God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
