Eze Imo honours Umeh with chieftaincy title at Iriji festival

In recognition of his service to humanity and development of Imo State, Eze Udo11 of Amaefeke and Chairman, Imo State Council of Traditional Institution and Community Policing, E.C. Okeke (Ochirizuo) Imo of Amaefeke, Imo State, has named Uche Umeh (Nwajiugonnaya na Obodoukwu) among illustrious sons and daughters to be bestowed with chieftaincy title of Omeiheukwu na Imo State on Saturday, September 23 during the Iriji Imo festival.

Special Guest of Honour is Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Other special guests include Tajudeen Abbas, speaker, House of Representatives; Benjamin Kalu, deputy speaker, House of Representatives; Osita Izunaso, Ezenwa Onyebuchi and Patrick Ndubeze.

Royal fathers of the day include Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II,  Ooni of Ife; Yahaya Abubakar, Etsu Nupe and Lawrence Agubuzu, chairman, South East Council of traditional Rulers.

The event will begin by 11am at Imo State Traditional Parliament (Obi Eze Imo), Owerri.
