Ethnic agitations: Security agencies in Gombe stage unity walk

Security agencies operating  in Gombe State have staged a march pass for the unity of the country against the backdrop of ethnic agitations by youths.

The agencies comprising of the army, police, custom, Immigration, Civil Defense Corps, Department of State Service (DSS) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), marched through a section of Gombe metropolis, on Wednesday, before bringing the exercise to an end at the Gombe Stadium, where the rally began.

Commissioner for Police in the state, Austin Iwar while addressing the array of men from the various security agencies, said the walk for unity by the joint security operatives was to demonstrate the unity of the country.
