Lindelof lasted less than 30 minutes before being helped off the pitch by two members of Sweden’s medical team.
The injury puts his prospects of playing in Amorim’s opening game against Ipswich next weekend into question.
Amorim will also be hoping that his key players return from the international break uninjured.
