Emir Gwandu commends Governor’s Wife, Zainab , for promoting society values, righteousness

The Emir of Gwandu and Chairman of Council of Chief in Kebbi State, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, has commended Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasir Idris for promoting moral values and righteousness in the state.
Bashar who acknowledged the contribution of the Wife of Kebbi State Governor, Zainab Idris, to the enthronement of moral values, noted that her consistence have really impacted on the lives of the people.
The Monarch stated this at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Ramadan Tafsir for Women, at the Abdullahi Fodio Palace, in Birnin Kebbi.
Press Secretary to the Governor’s Wife, Hajiya Khadijat Sa’adu who confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen, quoted the Emir to have acknowledged the contribution of Hajiya Zainab to the piousness of the society.
According to the statement, “Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar made it clear that Hajiya Zainab has consistently displayed piety, kindheartedness and exemplary behavior as a leader in consonance with the Prescription of the Glorious Qur’an and the Teachings of the Noble Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, (SAW).
“The Emir advised leaders at all levels to remain compassionate and benevolent to the citizenry, also cautioning the people to avoid casting aspersions on leaders but continue to pray for their success at the helm of affairs.
“The Chairman, Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, tasked parents to be steadfast towards the educational and moral upbringing of their children to grow up as useful members of the society.
“Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar also made emphasis on the obligation incumbent on sons and daughters to be merciful and obedient to their parents as stipulated in divine scriptures”.
In his reaction, the Wife of the Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, who was represented at the Tafsir closure by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs, Hajiya Aisha Maikurata, provided material support to the organisers to serve as charity.
