The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammadu Mera,who is also Amirul Hajj for Kebbi State, has attributed the success of the 2025 Hajj exercise to the support of Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris.

Mera while speaking in Mina after the symbolic stoning of the devil, commended Gov. Idris for endorsing the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board’s plans and preparations, ensuring a smooth execution of the Hajj.

The Emir also praised Kebbi State’s pilgrims for their discipline and devotion, expressing gratitude for their prayers for the Governor, state, and country.

“Alhamdulillah, the pilgrims have conducted themselves admirably in the Holy Land. We received no complaints regarding accommodation or feeding; instead, all we heard were words of gratitude. No pilgrim expressed dissatisfaction toward the leadership, everyone was full of praise,” he said.

The Amirul Hajj also extended appreciation to the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, under the leadership of Alhaji Faruk Musa Yaro, for introducing well-organized and efficient procedures both in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

“We are grateful to everyone. The necessary tools and support were provided, and work was done effectively. May Allah reward all those involved,” he added.

The Emir also felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir (Sallah) celebration.
