Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El Rufai polled 367 votes to defeat his closest rival, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate who polled 59 votes at his Polling Unit 024, in Angwan Sarki.
It was the widest margin that the APC has polled at the polling unit in recent.
The result was announced by the INEC Presiding Officer at the polling unit, Abdullahi Sadiq Hamza.
The announcement of the result was witnessed by El Rufai’s first wife, Hadiza.
