As Muslims all over the world celebrate the Eid el-Kabir festivities, the Shepherd-in-Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Genesis Global, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, has tasked Nigerians to neigbourly love and kindness regardless of religious and ethnic affiliations.

This was contained in a statement released on Wednesday ahead of the church’s Stand Out Conference 2023 which is slated to hold August 13, 2023 at the Oriental Hotel in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State.

According to the cleric, with neighbourly love and kindness, strife and conflict will dissipate and insecurity reduced.

Ogundipe said, “Love is a universal language understood by everyone regardless of religious, ethnic, gender and social differences. Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ taught extensively on neighbourly love as stated in Mark 12:31: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.’

“Christians are encouraged to show love to all men and women. Nigerians should imbibe this attribute of love because it has no religion. With love and kindness to each other, strife and conflict will gradually end in Nigeria. With love and kindness towards one another, we will be able to concentrate our energy and time on things that unite us that the things that divide us.”
