A 21-year-old man, David Obazee Destiny has been arrested by police in Edo State for robbing a lady of her phone with a dummy gun.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Moses Yamu disclosed this in an X post on Tuesday.
Yamu said the suspect was arrested on Monday night at Uwasota area of Benin City, the state capital.
The police spokesman also shared a video of the suspect confessing to the crime.
In the 10-second video, Destiny can be heard saying he got involved in the act because of societal pressure.
