National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has extended its good wishes to Christian community in Nigeria, wishing them a joyous and meaningful Easter season.

Toyin Aderibigbe, Head, Public Relations and Protocol, NACA; in a statement, indicated that the Director General of NACA, Dr. Temitope Ilori, had emphasized that Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, hope, and symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, of love over despair.

Dr. Ilori said: “As we commemorate this significant occasion, we are reminded of the values of compassion, unity, resilience, and values that resonate deeply with NACA’s mission to combat HIV/AIDS and promote the well-being of all Nigerians.

“In confronting the challenges posed by the HIV epidemic, the spirit of Easter thus inspires us to stand together, resolute in our commitment to overcoming obstacles and building a brighter future for all Nigerians.”

Dr. Ilori extended heartfelt wishes to all Christians for a blessed Easter season filled with peace, joy, and the blessings of renewal.

She prayed that the season bring comfort and strength to all those affected by HIV/AIDS, and may the collective efforts continue to bring hope and progress in our fight against the epidemic.
