Dun & Bradstreet South Asia, Middle East & Africa (SAME) has launched a Business Credibility Report (BCR), a verification solution designed to help companies independently establish their credentials amid increasing scrutiny from lenders, investors and commercial partners.
The launch comes as businesses and other stakeholders place greater emphasis on due diligence and verified information before extending credit, entering partnerships or establishing new commercial relationships.
The BCR leverages Dun & Bradstreet’s global business information, data and verification capabilities to provide an independent assessment of a company’s business profile.
Sameer Anees, a senior executive at Dun & Bradstreet SAME, said the report would help businesses strengthen their credibility in an increasingly risk-conscious commercial environment.
“The Business Credibility Report, endorsed by Dun & Bradstreet SAME, is an indispensable tool in an organization’s armoury, particularly for firms seeking to enhance their credentials in an increasingly value-driven business environment,” Anees said.
According to the company, the report is available in five formats, with each variant providing verified information that external stakeholders can use when evaluating a business.
Depending on the option selected, the report may also include macroeconomic, industry and operational perspectives, offering users a broader assessment of a company beyond its basic corporate details.
Dun & Bradstreet said the solution is aimed at converting corporate reputation, which can often be difficult to measure, into a more tangible business advantage through independently verified information.
The company said the report can help businesses demonstrate their credibility to prospective customers, suppliers, lenders and other commercial partners while supporting more informed decision-making.
It added that the launch is part of its broader effort to promote trusted commercial relationships through verified business information and data-driven insights across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Dun & Bradstreet Nigeria operates as part of Dun & Bradstreet South Asia Middle East (DBSAME), within the company’s exclusive partner network.
Dun & Bradstreet maintains a global commercial database containing more than 600 million company records and provides business information used for risk management, regulatory compliance and growth decisions.
The company also said more than 90 per cent of Fortune 500 companies worldwide rely on Dun & Bradstreet to support informed business decisions.
