DPKAY Homes and Property has launched Ovation Terrace, a housing scheme aimed at supporting the Lagos State government in bridging the housing deficit in the state and to make everyone own a part of the city by becoming a landlord.
The real estate firm had in 2022 launched a similar housing scheme named Castlemore Terrace.
According to DPKAY’s Director of Operations, Yomi Kuti, the land on which the project was constructed faced a lot of challenges from land grabbers, despite being consented to by the state government.
“The magnificent edifice you all are seeing today faces a lot of challenges from different quarters but we thank God Almighty for giving us the grace to be here today to the official opening ceremony of our lovely Ovation 1 Terrace. We promised you about two years ago that we are going to be delivering Ovation 1 Terrace in 18 months. To God be the glory, here we are today,” he said.
Also speaking at the opening ceremony is the legal advisor of the company, Oluwaseun Alao, who noted that it has been the dream of the chairman of the company, Prince Dele Akinola to see that the company bridges the gap of housing deficit across the country, said: “We started this place from ground zero and this is in fulfillment of what we have always been saying that we want to work with Lagos State government and indeed all the governments in every state to ensure that we bridge the yearning gap in housing deficit.”
“We are not only doing that, we want to also ensure that all our buildings are not only for the affluent but also for the have not and the people that are average. If you see this edifice today, you will agree with me that going by the figures on our flyers that what we are having does not actually match what we have spent. So, this is just a fulfilment of what DPKAY BRAND stand for.
“If you have listened to our Chairman, Prince Dele Akinola talk, you will see that this is just the fulfilment of his age long dreams that he has a company that can deliver housing estate to everybody.”
Marketing Manager, DPKAY Homes & Property Ltd, Adetutu Akapo urged all prospective buyers and clients to subscribe as limited slots are available for sale.

Highlights of the event are the cutting of the ribbon led by the Director of Operations, Engr Yomi Kuti, GM DPKAY Travel & Tours, Mr Oladeji Ogunleye, Barr. Oluwaseun Alao, Brand Ambassador, Adunni Ade, and members of staff were in attendance.
