Senator representing Lagos West and senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun West district, Solomon Olamilekan, has called on the National Working Committee of the party to caution former Osun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun, over his “serial anti party and anti people tendencies.”

Adeola urged the NWC not to treat Amosun’s threat to work against the re-election of Governor Dapo Abiodun  with kids’ gloves.

He raised the alarm that the former governor was plotting a repeat of what he did in 2019 with the formation of APM against APC in 2023.

The senator in a statement, yesterday, chided the former governor for his allegation that the 2019 election was skewed in favour of the incumbent governor against Abdul-Kabiru Akinlade of the APM.

“The allegation of the former governor and his anti party stance, betrayed the mind of a man who is afraid of the looming political retirement that awaits him in 2023.”
