American singer and reality TV star, Ray J said doctors have informed him he has only a month to live after his recent hospitalisation for a heart-related condition.

The 45-year-old singer, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., shared the grim prognosis in a video post on social media.

He stated that “2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” while waving his hand across his throat in a cutting gesture to emphasise the finality of the situation.

Ray J revealed that his heart is currently operating at just 25% capacity and described it as “mostly black.”

He admitted to causing the damage himself through years of excessive lifestyle choices like heavy drinking and wild partying, saying, “I f***ed my shit up.”

Elaborating on his past habits, the One Wish crooner revealed he would consume “multiple bottles in one night” while partying, feeling “invincible” at the time.

In the video, a friend attempts to encourage him to be optimistic, but a dismissive Ray J responds: “that’s what the doctors told me.”

However, the singer said he would be heading to Haiti in two weeks as a “last-ditch effort” to seek alternative treatment that might extend his life.

He also gave shoutouts to his parents and his sister, singer Brandy, who he said is covering his medical bills amid the crisis.

Earlier this month, Ray J was hospitalised in Las Vegas for a severe case of pneumonia and heart pains.

This came four years after he experienced a similar episode that required oxygen support.
