Dame Okonkwo’s burial: Queen of Red Carpet expresses appreciation

Weeks after the successful burial ceremonies of Dame Margaret Adaoyibo Okonkwo, mother of international filmmaker, HRM Florence Okonkwo the euphoria is still been felt within and outside Delta State.

In appreciation of the honour done her on account of the numerous dignitaries that graced, the occasion, Florence popularly known as Queen of Red Carpet is full of gratitude to them.

In a heartfelt statement, she said: ” I want to on behalf of myself and family sincerely thank everyone for their well wishes and prayers, show of love, support and kindness in various ways.

“Our appreciation also goes to the Holy Family Catholic church, Festac, members of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) led by Chief Emeka Rollas (MON); President of Ohaneze Women Worldwide, Hon. Chief Rita Daniels Chukwuji; Chief Chinwe Owoh; Sam Anokam; Elegant Flix Magazine lead by the  President, Chief Augustine Ajayi and HRM  Maria Jijingi who worked tirelessly to ensure proper media coverage, the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA)  and other media outfit, HRH Josephert Nwonye, Isheak the V represented by Mr. Dominic and our daughter, Njidika Favor Udeh.

I also thank the communities  here in the UK and abroad for your support for me in the industry for over 15 years and counting.
